This weekend I’ve been enjoying, and challenged by, a little book I got on Friday, The Illumined Heart by Frederica Mathewes-Green. Although it’s not that big a book, there are no wasted words in it and it’s one I’ll need to come back to again in the near future. There’s plenty I could share from the book, but for now I’d like to share the following:
It.s funny how the labels “bad guy” and “good guy” can switch, depending on where you’re standing. This is because the whole concept is an illusion. In reality, bad guys and good guys are mythical creatures, and don’t exist in real life…
…The line between good and evil doesn’t run between people, but down the center of every heart. This is why Jesus came.
