Teaser Tuesdays – Drops Like Stars (October 9)

It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor or black or white or right or left or young or old – if you have the same disease as someone else or if you both have a daughter with an eating disorder or have a brother in jail or had a spouse die or recently were fired…You have a bond that transcends whatever differences you have.

From page 75 of Drops Like Stars: A Few Thoughts on Creativity and Suffering. I just finished this little book and really enjoyed it. It’s not a huge book, but Rob Bell says enough to get the mind working. It pretty much was what I have come to expect from him and I’m happy with that.
