WWW Wednesdays (Oct 19)

To play along with this weekly book event, hosted by Should Be Reading, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers this week are:

What are you currently reading? I just picked up a copy of The Last Summer, by Boris Pasternak, at a greatly named bookstore in London, ON – The Book Addict. It’s not a huge store, but it’s packed with lots of great books, at great prices. Everything is ordered well both by topic and alphabetically. I might have to go back and visit it tomorrow, if I have time before heading north again! The book isn’t too big and I’m hoping to be able to get through it tonight before going to bed.

What did you recently finish reading? I recently started reading C.S. Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia to my ten-year-old son. We started with The Magician’s Nephew and have been reading a chapter each night. We finished it last week and moved on to the next one. He’s enjoying them so far and I’m enjoying reading them to him.

What do you think you’ll read next? I’m hoping to read Stone of Destiny by Ian Hamilton soon. It’s a true story, on which the movie of the same name was based. The movie is great and I’m hoping the book will be, too!
