‘Booking Through Thursday‘ today asks the question:
What’s the oddest book you’ve ever read? Did you like it? Hate it? Did it make you think?
This is quite a difficult one, but I’d have to say that Kafka’s novella ‘The Metamorphosis’ is probably one of the oddest things I have read. I didn’t hate it, although at first I didn’t like it either. It’s not one of my favourites, but I mostly like it now and it has encouraged me to read some of Kafka’s other stuff as well.
