WWW Wednesdays (Oct. 5)

This is another weekly book event hosted by ‘Should Be Reading’.

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers this week are:

What are you currently reading?

‘A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian’ – Marina Lewycka – I bought this in Oxfam in Bromley on holiday last year. I hadn’t heard of it, but was intrigued by the title. So far I’m not disappointed. It’s funny and well-written. The story draws you in and you have to keep reading, which makes it a good book.

What did you recently finish reading?

‘Animal Farm’ – George Orwell. I hadn’t read it for a while and it’s one I like to read from time to time. It’s a classic that is worth returning to every so often.

What do you think you’ll read next?

‘Living by Fiction’ – Annie Dillard. If I can get my final essays written soon, I’ll reward myself by reading this. I really enjoy reading her writing and look forward to getting into this one.
