This week Booking Through Thursday asks the following:
It’s the depth of winter here where I live right now … what books do you like to read when it’s snowy and white? What books do you read to evoke a real feeling of winter (good or bad)?
I don’t really think that much about what I’m reading during the winter. Standing outside my door for a few minutes soon evokes a real feeling of winter, especially on a day like today where it started off this morning at -29C and the forecast is for a high of -13C. I also heard that the windchill is going to be -33C tonight. Maybe with this weather I should be reading books set in the desert or on a beach, or anywhere it’s hot!
What I do like about winter is that if the weather gets so bad that I can’t get out then I have enough books around here to keep me going until the storm passes over.

It’s been in the 60′s where I live, so I can’t even process what your temperatures even feel like! Crazy. Here’s my BTT: http://meganm922.blogspot.com/2013/01/booking-through-thursdaywinter.html
I guess you just get used to the temperatures and keep in mind that summer will eventually return
Thanks for dropping by.
I don’t know how cold it is, but I seriously love it when it’s cold outside and the wind is blowing around the house and I am lying in my bed with a nice book! Thanks for sharing!

Good answer. I don’t usually pick my books according to weather either.
Except perhaps sometimes…
Stay warm,really cold temps.
