For once I managed to keep away from the used books this week, much to the delight of my wife. However, I was very surprised when picking up some groceries at Foodland to see them selling Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (Seth Grahame-Smith) for $6.99. Obviously, I had to buy it! My subscription to mental_floss also kicked in this week and I’ve been busy reading this as well. If you don’t know it already, mental_floss is the magazine where ‘knowledge junkies get their fix’. The latest issue is the 10 issue and claims to have ‘our most amazing collection of top 10 lists ever. Check it out if you are a knowledge junkie!
Hopefully I’ll have a larger list of finds for next week. If not, I have plenty books to keep me going in the meantime.
